For the past seven years, day in and day out, as I was gazing inside the confined limits on a wall of our small rented room, I always saw a flat image of objects — canopies of trees, rusted rooftops, bare or planted rice field, a power line tower over here, a pale mountain over there… Life is boring, I thought. …Buryong!
One day, I decided to face this “western wall” and LOOK OUT once more. I have no choice. In my small enclosure, this wall is the only one that has a window in it. This time I looked up at the enormous celestial canvas. Behold…
Now, though I am gazing at a setting sun in the western horizon, I see a new day in everyday. Each day a beginning.
When God paints, life is not boring at all.
