Departure season is not yet over… At about 9 o’clock this evening, grandmahammie Mochahontas joined her hubby Berio (the elder) with the rest of their departed family members.
Etymology of name: color + historical Algonquian Indian heroine, early 1600s
Color: light brown
Litter group: Panapanagang (sons and daughters of Arrow)
Lifespan: 25 months 20 days

Ibang klase magpaikot ng gulong si Lola Daga.
Traits and characteristics: The bitey type. Grumpy towards human and fellow hammies, but became quite friendly in old age. Shows her dislike for anybody (she feels staring at her) near her cage by rubbing her flanks on any surface, or by biting the post or lintel of the cage’s door — as if she’s saying: “Alis ka diyaaaan!!!” (Go away!) Although still disoriented, quickly checks out for any intruder if suddenly disturbed from her deep slumber. A playful, protective and responsible mother who always sees to it that her food and litter (babies) are in order.
Four light browns hammies were raised in the family, two of them were females — Mochahontas and her grandmother MsBraun (3rd batch of the 2nd generation).
