Pag namatay KA, pagkatapos nun, ano?

NOTE: Click the red-highlighted text to check the online Bible, and the Bible icon or the smaller cross graphics below to see the passage in the King James version.

1. Body (soma katawang lupa)

“ … and the dust returns to the earth as it was,
and the spirit returns to God who gave it.”

(Ecclesiastes 12:7)

Heaven or Hell lang: Hindi tutuong may purgatoryo.

“ For, ‘Yet a little while,
and the coming one will come and will not delay;
but my righteous one shall live by faith,
and if he shrinks back,
my soul has no pleasure in him.’
But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls.”

(Hebrews 10:37-39)

Hindi po tayo nananakot dito.
Sine-

“ Narinig ninyong sinabi, ‘Huwag kang mangangalunya.’

Ngunit dahil sa ating mga kasalanan kaya siya nasugatan;
Tayong lahat ay tulad ng mga tupang naliligaw;
nagkanya-kanya tayo ng lakad.
Ngunit ipinataw ni Yahweh sa kanya
ang kaparusahang tayo ang dapat tumanggap.”

(Isaias 53:4-6)

Its YOUR decision now:
Confess your sins to God and repent! Turn from your old selfish ways. Accept the resurrected Christ Jesus as your only personal Savior and Lord of your life.

You may say something like this, in your own words. With all your heart, pray to God:

Amen.”

Continue reading and studying your Bible.
God bless you,
kapatid.

Only Begotten Son

For YOU (Good Friday Bonus)
JUST SHARING (from the “
Couple’s Devotional Bible”)
This article’s author: Nate Adams
Bible Passage: John 3:16-21

Key Verse: John 3:16

Jesus said: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

I was shaving when I heard a crash in the bedroom. The full-length mirror that was leaning against our bedroom wall must have fallen. Then I heard Caleb’s scream.

I flew around the corner to see a zillion pieces of broken mirror on the floor – and Caleb, my 19-month-old, lying in the middle of it. Then I saw the blood.

The sight of my son’s blood overwhelmed me. I snatched him up and scanned his body. Though the glass had been scattered all around him, the only mark was a small scratch on the inside of his left ear. Only a trickle of blood flowed, so it was apparently more fear than injury that was forcing his tears.

The interesting thing about this little crisis is now I can’t read, hear or even think of John 3:16 without remembering Caleb lying in the middle of that broken glass. That most familiar Bible verse had become much too familiar, even trite to me. But now when I hear it I get a lump in my throat, thinking about what kind of determined, redemptive love could be strong enough to let an only Son cry out in pain on a cross.

A few months after Caleb’s accident, our second son was born. I no longer had an “only begotten son.” But as I experienced the joy of a new life and an expanded family, I realized in a fresh way that it was Jesus’ death that made it possible for the Only Begotten Son to have many brothers and sisters.

MARRIAGE BUILDERS

How does having children, of your own affect your perception of God’s sacrifice of his only begotten son?

How has sacrifice been part of love in your marriage relationship?

The Star in the Window

by Martin R. De Haan

During World War II it was the custom in the United States for a family who had a son serving in the military to place a star in the front window of their home. A gold star indicated that the son had died in support of his country’s cause.

Years ago, Sir Harry Lauder told a touching story about this custom. He said that one night a man was walking down a New York City street accompanied by his 5-year-old son. The little fellow was interested in the brightly lighted windows of the houses and wanted to know why some houses had a star in the window. The father explained that those families had a son fighting in the war. The child would clap his hands as he saw another star in the window and would cry out, “Look, Daddy, there’s another family who gave a son for his country.”

At last they came to an empty lot, and a break in the row of houses. Through the gap a star could be seen shining brightly in the sky. The little lad caught his breath, “Oh, Daddy,” he cried, “Look at the star in the window of heaven! God must have given His Son too.”

Yes indeed! There is a star in God’s window. Do you realize what He did for you? Because of God’s love for us, He gave His Son, Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:4). Have you thanked Him?

For God so loved the world, He gave His only Son

To die on Calvary’s tree, from sin to set me free;

Someday He’s coming back, what glory that will be!

Wonderful HIS love to me. — Smith

O, ano na kaibigan? …

————————————————————————————————

Many give their lives for their country,

But Jesus gave his life for the world.

————————————————————————————————

“ For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,

that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

(John 3:16)

“ For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —

and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God — not by works,

so that no one can boast.”

(Ephesians 2:8-9)

On friends… and souls

Today is November 2, or what the ‘world’ celebrates as the All Souls’ Day. Take time to remember your ‘living’ friends and neighbors.

You Forgot My Soul!

You lived next door to me for years,

We shared our dreams, our joys, our tears

A friend you were to me indeed

A friend who helped me in my need.

My faith in you was strong and true

We had such trust as would endure

No spats between us ever rose

Our friends were like — and so our foes.

What sadness then, my friend, to find

That after all, you weren’t so kind

The day my life on earth did end

I found you weren’t a faithful friend.

For all those years we spent on earth

You never talked of second birth

You never spoke of my soul

And of the Christ who’d make me whole.

I plead today from Hell’s cruel fire

And tell you now my last desire

You cannot do a thing for me

No words today my bonds to free.

But do not err, my friend, again

Do all you can for souls of men

Plead with them now quite earnestly

Lest they be cast in hell with me.

May mensahe ako para sa mga kulto (who speak love in lies)

On births … and deaths

Today is what the ‘world’ celebrates as the All Saints’ Day. Pinoys popularly call it Undas, Araw ng mga patay, Pista ng mga patay, or — as our older folks refer to it — by its spanish equivalent Todos los Santos. Bugtong, or riddles, usually abound during these times when I was young.

Now… before you die (I hope it won’t be soon enough so that you will be given ample time on this — ), I want to leave you a two-millennium-old paradox(?), or ‘riddle’ for you to ponder upon.

Have you heard about this:

  • ONE birth, TWO deaths ?
  • TWO births, ONE death ?

This, in fact, is not just a riddle — these two are your only options. And if you are living at these times, well-informed enough to use a computer and browse or surf the internet, even if you do not make a choice, you are left stuck at the first option.

Hamsters, or any animals, have only ONE birth, ONE death; but each person (that includes you) — unless he or she is a faithful believer of and will be caught up in the ‘Blessed Hope’ (in which case there is TWO births and NO death) — has to ‘pick’ one out of the two choices. I am not scaring you. This is not a threat, only a warning. There is nothing new in it and my only basis is the Scriptures. I have to tell you that the faithful believers I am referring to above have chosen the second option. If you want to know more, you can post your questions to me as a comment. I will answer your questions via your e-mail.

Or if you prefer, you can just click on the links below and ask me about it later.
